Breakfast Pizza

Egg, Spinach and Canadian Bacon Breakfast Pizza
Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: 18 minutes Total Time: 55 minutes Yield: 5 servings Serving Size: 1/5 of pizza Ingredients 1 pizza dough, set on counter for 30 minutes (Or you can use ready made pizza dough or prepackaged pizza dough½ cup chopped onion ½ cup sliced mushrooms 1 tbsp. chicken broth 1 cup chopped tomato 2 cups baby spinach ½ tsp. kosher salt or sea salt¼ tsp. fresh ground black pepper 3 oz. part skim mozzarella cheese, shredded 4 slices Canadian bacon, diced or you can use smoked bacon or turkey bacon4 eggs 1 tsp. Italian or pizza seasoning blend Instructions Place a pizza stone in an oven and preheat to 500°. Flour a work surface and roll pizza dough out to a 12 inch circle. Prick dough with a fork. Heat a skillet over medium high heat. Add onions and mushrooms, stir constantly until onion starts to brown and stick. Add chicken broth and stir onions. Let cook until transparent. Winter Wonder Soup

White Turkey Chili

Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 3 hours Total Time: 3 hours, 15 minutes Yield: 6-8 servings

          Ingredients 2 Tbs. olive oil 1 large yellow onion, diced Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste 2 tsp. toasted ground cumin 5 garlic cloves, minced 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced 1 lb. Anaheim chilies, roasted, peeled and diced, or 3 cans (each 7 oz.) whole fire-roasted Anaheim chilies, diced 4 to 4 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth, warmed 1 lb. diced cooked turkey (Can substituted with cooked chicken too)3 cans (each 15 oz.) white beans, drained and rinsed, or 4 1/2 cups cooked white beans, drained 2 Tbs. minced fresh oregano 1/3 cup minced fresh cilantro 1/4 cup cornmeal Shredded jack cheese, sour cream and lime wedges for serving Instructions In a large sauté pan over medium heat, warm the olive oil. New Soap Batch

I have been working on getting some new soaps ready for the Spring.  I have several that I am currently working on and about 3 batches that have been done. Here is one of the batches I have finished and is curing at the moment. My Oatmeal Milk and Honey is ready and will be posted soon as I have been getting many request for this soap and the wait is finally over. Sorry for the bad photo but my phone is the only thing I had available at the time :-)

New Batch of Oatmeal Milk and Honey

Just plain old Oatmeal Milk and Honey soap. This was made using the Hot Process soap making method so it has a rustic appearance.  It is loaded with Shea Butter, Olive Oil, and of course Oatmeal. One of my best seller and favorites to make. It doesn't have a pretty design but it is a awesome soap :-)
