Question Of The Day

What's the nicest thing a stranger has done for or said to you?

I posted this question on my account.  I have some wonderful wonderful friends there that I chat with all the time and I posted this question on there and got some very interesting answers back. Just when you think there aren't any nice people anymore, then you hear all these lovely things that people have done or said to you was just touching. So touching that I decided to post it here to see what you guys would post.

I would really love to hear others answers to this question. This could be recent or in the past. Please feel free to leave a comment if you like. Not only for me to see but for others to see too. :-)

Scented Lotion Sticks are back!!!

Back from Spring and Summer hiatus. Our Scented Solid Lotion Stick are back. One of our best selling items.  We have a slightly new look too. What are lotions sticks?

Lotion bars or sticks are solid moisturizing sticks. A great substitute for lotions. Lotion sticks or bars are activated by your bodys heat and can be used anywhere on the body such as the hands, feet, elbows, face, or anywhere you need to spot treat quickly.

Our lotion sticks lotion sticks can be applied directly to areas in need of moisturizing. The stick can be rubbed on these areas until it heats and softens and gently rubbing in.  Our lotion sticks may feel a little greasy when it is in direct contact with you skin but when it is rubbed in, it quickly absorbs into the skin. The ideal time to use lotion sticks is right before bedtime. Applying a hard lotion before bed is that the lotion has all night to penetrate through the skin, and you can wake up feeling soft and smooth. Try it on your feet and wear a pair soft during the night. The warmth from the socks help the lotion penetrate the outer layers of the skin. You feet will look marvelous in the morning.

Our Scented Lotion Sticks come in a wide variety of scents and will be prepared at the time of your order. None of our lotion bars are premade and pre scented, this is to allows our customers to customize the scent YOU want not what I want. We have always been this way and will continue to allow the customers pick and choose their own scents.

Also try out Organic Pure Cocoa Butter Sticks. This is 100% unscented pure organic cocoa butter. It has that wonderful cocoa butter scent that I absolutely love.

This is also available in our small travel size .50 oz to try before you buy.
Not feeling well? Need to open up those nasal passages and just a bit  under the weather? Try our Vapor Rub Solid Sticks. The Natural Wonders Of Essential Oils

Essential oils are powerful anti-oxidant concentrates. These come from raw plant material such as flowers, leaves, wood, bark, roots, seeds, and peels. These plant ingredients are put into a distiller and placed over water. As the water is heated, the steam penetrates the plant material and vaporizes the volatile compounds.

These vapors then travel through a coil and condense back to a liquid which is collected in a receiving vessel.

 Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender essential oil has been used for everything from dermatitis, eczema, sunburn, insect bites, headaches, migraine, rashes, insomnia, infections, arthritis, anxiety, tension, panic, hysteria, fatigue, burns, psoriasis, scars, thread veins. It is effective in treating infected hair follicles and other minor skin conditions, pimples, black heads, and light forms of acne.  It is good for all skin types and balances sebum.  Lavender is an excellent and safe childrens remedy including rashes, bumps and bruises.

Lavender and tea tree essential oils are the most popular and most common essential oils on the market.  These essential oils will be the antidote for most everything you will need.  They are also the only two essential oils that can be used straight on the skin in most cases.  All other essential oils must be at least diluted into a carrier oil, lotion or other products for usage.

Lemon Essential Oils

Lemon and orange essential oils come from the peels themselves and have very powerful anti-microbial properties that destroy pathogenic bacteria, viruses and fungi. They also contain concentrated forms of citrus bioflavonoids known as Vitamin P.  This helps the body respond to stress and recover from exercise more effectively

Sandalwood Essential oil

Sandalwood essential oil helps soften skin by increasing and restoring its ability to retain moisture. It can be applied directly to the skin, although if you’ve never used it before or are particularly sensitive to essential oils, you may choose to dilute it slightly in some jojoba oil.  It is powerfully anti-aging; it can relieve localized rashes, inflammation, and itching; assist in fading scar tissue; offer toning and astringent properties; help heal eczema and psoriasis; soothe acne and shrink pimples; reduce dandruff; and makes a great aftershave.

Sandalwood is a powerful fighter of bad bacteria and viruses. Traditionally, it is given as a treatment for the urinary tract and kidneys; aiding sore throat, chest infections, and bronchitis. It’s anti-inflammatory. Also, try adding a few drops to your favorite massage oil to increase relaxation and soothe sore muscles. This also helps scar tissue heal and fade.

Fragrance oils are not a good substitute for essential oils.  If your face suddenly breaks out with on big red pimple in the center of your forehead or right on the tip of your nose, apply some tea tree oil in the affected area.  Having trouble sleeping, try a small amount of lavender essential oil on a cotton ball and put it into your pillowcase.  So there you have it.

Oh Honey!!

Oh how I love honey. Did you know that historically, honey has been used by humans to treat a variety of ailments, from gastric disturbances to ulcers, wounds and burns, through ingestion or topical application, but only recently have the antiseptic and antibacterial properties of honey been chemically explained.

Honey is not in our food and for our body and health but it is very beneficial if you use it on your skin.  Honey not only works for caring for everyday skin conditions, it is also used as a treatment for various skin problems.  Honey is a well known antibacterial and antifungal agent.  It is rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.  Honey also contains powerful antioxidants which fight free radicals.  Honey is a humectant, which means it binds moisture to the skin.

Here is one of my best scrubs with honey. Honey Brown Sugar Body Scrub. Our honey scrub is loaded with honey and fantastic oils that blended together makes this scrub a soft and creamy texture. Easy to use and comes in this neat little bail jar for easy storage. It is made with Raw Brown Sugar, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Glycerin (Vegetable Glycerin), Honey, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Fragrance, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice and Honey fragrance.

This will be available soon on our website and this is also available at our shop
