Well it is that time of the year again. I have been a very busy bee. I have been crazy busy since my last post and that was last month so you can imagine.  First I want to wish everyone Happy Holidays and  prosperous New Year.  I have had the pleasure of servicing some wonderful people throughout 2012 and Pegasus Soaps wouldn't be where we are today without you.  Thank you for allowing me to provide you with my products and I hope that you continue to come back and purchase again in the New Year.

Our Christmas shipping deadline is fast approaching and I hope there are no last procrastinators. I know as I am one of them. Our Christmas deadline to get your orders in is December 15th. We will be having some new items in the new year, some photo changes on some o…

Happy Thanksgiving!

It is that time of year again. Where did the year go?  It was just Summer and now it is Thanksgiving. This is one of my favorite holidays because family and friends come together and celebrate being thankful. My husband and I will be spending it alone this year as we didn't want to travel but my family and some of his family are not that far away but having to deal with traffic and congestion is not one of my husband strong points. He has to deal with a lot of traffic here in Northern VA on a daily basis so having to deal with traffic on his day off is annoying. I don't like to drive long distance and I hate driving. I am not very good at it LOL so I leave most of the driving to him.
Then you have Black Friday. I just don't get it. Every year they push back Black Friday times earlier and earlier. Now Black Friday sales start on Thanksgiving! WTH? I see people camping out in front of stores with tents. Its a bit pathetic if you ask me. 1. It shows that these people have no…

Formula 1 in Austin TX!!

Some of you may  not know but I am a HUGE Formula One fan. My husband starting watching it and asked if I wanted to sit down and watch with him and just like that, I became hooked.

Well this weekend Formula One Is Back to the U.S. After a Five-year Hiatus and I am so pleased to see it return to the US. Unfortunately Formula One currently does not have an American driver but all the same I am so excited that they are making their way back here.

Circuit of Americas

Circuit of Americas is the name of the brand new track in Austin TX. Every single driver in Formula One will be new for them. The track looks awesome!

Here is a look at the Circuit of America Track in Austin TX.

We originally had plans to go to Austin TX this year for the Formula One race but decided to hold off on it. It was very costly for the 2 of us to go and especially since Thanksgiving is next week. A three day weekend would have cost a small fortune with a 3 day ticket for one person is abou…

What's the nicest thing a stranger has done for or said to you? I posted this question on my account.  I have some wonderful wonderful friends there that I chat with all the time and I posted this question on there and got some very interesting answers back. Just when you think there aren't any nice people anymore, then you hear all these lovely things that people have done or said to you was just touching. So touching that I decided to post it here to see what you guys would post.

Scented Lotion Sticks are back!!!

Back from Spring and Summer hiatus. Our Scented Solid Lotion Stick are back. One of our best selling items.  We have a slightly new look too. What are lotions sticks?

Lotion bars or sticks are solid moisturizing sticks. A great substitute for lotions. Lotion sticks or bars are activated by your bodys heat and can be used anywhere on the body such as the hands, feet, elbows, face, or anywhere you need to spot treat quickly.

Our lotion sticks lotion sticks can be applied directly to areas in need of moisturizing. The stick can be rubbed on these areas until it heats and softens and gently rubbing in.  Our lotion sticks may feel a little greasy when it is in direct contact with you skin but when it is rubbed in, it quickly absorbs into the skin. The ideal time to use lotion sticks is right before bedtime. Applying a hard lotion before bed is that the lotion has all night to penetrate through the skin, and you can wake up feeling soft and smooth. Try it on your feet and wear a pair s…

The Natural Wonders Of Essential Oils

Essential oils are powerful anti-oxidant concentrates. These come from raw plant material such as flowers, leaves, wood, bark, roots, seeds, and peels. These plant ingredients are put into a distiller and placed over water. As the water is heated, the steam penetrates the plant material and vaporizes the volatile compounds.

These vapors then travel through a coil and condense back to a liquid which is collected in a receiving vessel.

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender essential oil has been used for everything from dermatitis, eczema, sunburn, insect bites, headaches, migraine, rashes, insomnia, infections, arthritis, anxiety, tension, panic, hysteria, fatigue, burns, psoriasis, scars, thread veins. It is effective in treating infected hair follicles and other minor skin conditions, pimples, black heads, and light forms of acne.  It is good for all skin types and balances sebum.  Lavender is an excellent and safe childrens remedy including rashes, bumps and bruises.

Oh Honey!!

Oh how I love honey. Did you know that historically, honey has been used by humans to treat a variety of ailments, from gastric disturbances to ulcers, wounds and burns, through ingestion or topical application, but only recently have the antiseptic and antibacterial properties of honey been chemically explained.
Honey is not in our food and for our body and health but it is very beneficial if you use it on your skin.  Honey not only works for caring for everyday skin conditions, it is also used as a treatment for various skin problems.  Honey is a well known antibacterial and antifungal agent.  It is rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.  Honey also contains powerful antioxidants which fight free radicals.  Honey is a humectant, which means it binds moisture to the skin.
Here is one of my best scrubs with honey. Honey Brown Sugar Body Scrub. Our honey scrub is loaded with honey and fantastic oils that blended together makes this scrub a soft and creamy texture. Easy t…

Healthy Hair

Us women use so much stuff in our hair to keep it looking nice. We use chemicals such as relaxers (for women of color) which over time can really damage the hair, hair colors, perms, and heat. Heat is one of the main causes of damaged hair. I know I have put my hair through so much hair color that it just won't take color anymore so I have had it with hair colors. No more. I am going to treat my hair like gold from now on. Us women put so much stress on our hair and we don't realize that with all the things we do it that we think is making it look nice, it's really destroying . Here are some tips I think you will find helpful that will help repair or keep your hair looking fabulous.

To maintain proper body functions your body needs variety of vitamins and minerals.
In the same way, good nutrition is required not only for your body but for your hair also.

Good nutrition plays a vital role in healthy hair growth.  There are several vitamins that are used for ha…

It's Been A Long And Hot Summer

It's has been a long time since I last posted. A lot of things going on with my personal life and busy busy busy. Every time I go to sit down and write, I get distracted and something else comes up. So now I am able to sit down and update my blog.

My mom and my son came to visit us this Summer. It was a short visit but we were thrilled to have them here finally. Getting my mom out of the city is like pulling teeth.  I don't think she likes to travel much anymore but since my son stays with her to keep an eye on her, she only really came because he was able to. My son was laid off recently so he has a little more free time to do things. He worked weekends and days and nights so it was hard for him to set time aside to come and visit, which I completely understand. I am glad they only live 2 1/2 hours away up I-95 in Philadelphia. My mom hasn't been here since we first moved to our new home which was back in 2009 so a lot has changed in our neighborhood. It is not as empty a…
