What's New?

I have been a busy little bee over the past few weeks. Trying to get new items made and listed is a chore believe me. Between taking photos, (which I hate doing)editing, pricing, descriptions and listing them on all venues is so time consuming. But I do have several items listed that I am sure you will just love.

Back from the the winter months are the Scented Solid Lotions bars. I have these available in many select scent or you can pick your own scent to your liking.

They are on sale this week at our Artfire location Click here

Next on the list are these fabulous Scented Air/Linen Sprays. These also come in a variety of scents. I use these in the bathroom, laundry room, near the litter box or anywhere I want the air refreshed. These are also great to keep in the car to keep your car nice and fresh too. These are highly scented to a little is all you need. Don't see your favorite scent, send me a message and ask if I have your favorite scent. Click here

Alcohol Free Aftershave Gel. This is a excellent alternative to alcohol based aftershave gels. It is very gentle to the skin and very moisturizing. This is also great for women to use after shaving your legs. All natural and can scented with essential oils. Click Here

This is one of my most popular soaps to date. I have to say this is one of my all time favorites too. This my Oatmeal Milk and Honey soap. Very rich and creamy and has nice fluffy lather. Great for the entire family. Vegan Friendly too. Click Here

So what is coming next? Well I have a few more really nice scrubs coming up for the holiday that I am sure you will just love. I will have more and more soaps made for the upcoming holidays. And The Bath Melts will be back. Those were a hit with my customers. Also you will be able to find all of these items at our Etsy location as well if you prefer to shop there.

Thanks for stopping by

Artfire's Group Deal for $5.95

ArtFire - Buy Handmade - Sell Handmade

I have been on Artfire since November 2008 and I love there. I started there when it was just beginning to take off. Over the years I have seen it become a great place to shop and sell. With the Pro account you get many tools and widges than what you would get from Etsy and many other selling venues. It was the best thing I could have done for my business.

Artfire has no listing fees, no commission fees, for Basic or Pro accounts. Ok so you are wondering what is this Group deal?

Well here ya go. Its simple, if you have a shop on Artfire for either Basic or Pro. (doesn't matter what you are paying now) if you opt in on the Group Deal, your shop will only be 5.95 a month. And that is as long as you have Pro Studio there. If you have a Basic studio now and opt in, you will automatically will get bumped to Pro and pay only 5.95 a month.

Here are more details

•There is no risk to you, the only thing that can change is that your rate will go down if you a current Pro Account.

•If for some reason 20,000 of our 80,000 sellers do not want to take advantage of this offer – NO ONE will be charged and you WILL NOT lose your locked-in rate you are enjoying right now.

•If the deal is on, your old subscription rate will be canceled and you’ll pay $5.95 on your next scheduled billing date. (This includes Pro members who pay for 3 months at a time, Pro 500 Members who pre-paid for the year, and any other member with pre-paid account time, you can (and should) opt-in to this deal now and you will begin your $5.95/month subscription when your pre-paid time expires, whenever that date is.)

Ok so you are wondering what is the catch? No catch. I think this is a excellent deal for newcomers to the sight and for those that are a tight budget.

For more information please read Click here for all the terms and agreement.

So lets go spread the word out and get that 5.95 Pro account and lets starts selling our goods. You just can't beat the offer!!

Labor Day: What Does It Mean

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being.

The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union. The Central Labor Union held its second Labor Day holiday just a year later, on September 5, 1883.

In 1884 the first Monday in September was selected as the holiday, as originally proposed, and the Central Labor Union urged similar organizations in other cities to follow the example of New York and celebrate a "workingmen's holiday" on that date. The idea spread with the growth of labor organizations, and in 1885 Labor Day was celebrated in many industrial centers of the country.
