MMMMM Whipped Ice Cream Soap

Well I finally decided to bring my Whipped Parfait Ice Cream back. I made these a long time ago and decided to stop making them because they just too long to make. Yes these are made from scratch using a combination of ingredients. This is not a premade soap that was bought and fragrance was just added to it. I whip this soap by hand. I was making large batches of the soap and I couldn't keep them in stock long enough so I stop making them because the request for them was coming in faster than I can make them. So this time instead of making a large batch of these, I make a few at a time already scented. Custom orders for these will be by request only. I think that's why I couldn't keep them in stock because of the custom orders. But these are great. I love making them. They are very light and fluffy and it comes in a plastic recyclable 8 oz container. Just scoop a small about onto a color poof sponge and lather up. Great for the entire family to use especially the kids.

New Soap Have Arrived

Whats New? New Morning Mocha Coffee Soap. I actually forgot I had it sitting because I thought I made it using the cold process method and actually it was made using the Hot process method. The hot process method does not require the soap to cure for weeks. I usually let my hot process soaps sit about a week to harden. I took one bar out and used it this week and it is almost gone. My husband loves it. It is a great pick me up in the morning. It has a nice rich lather and you don't have to worry about smelling like coffee after you get our of the shower. This scent is not like your typical coffee scent.

I know that some people prefer soaps that leave a nice scent on their skin but for me, don't get me wrong, I love a nice smelling soap too, I just prefer my soaps to leave your skin feeling soft, and healthy and also smelling good. So if you are looking for that perfect soap that looks like food, cakes, pretty fancy swirls and designs then my soaps may not be for you. It's …

American Idol Adam Lambert!

Ok so this guy has really made an impression on me. I never been so excited to see the next show of American Idol just see what he will sing next. He blew me away again on Tuesday's show with Mad World. So I had to go online and find the original song. I am a huge fan of the 80's and found out that this was originally by Tears for Fears and later redone by Gary Jules. I love Tears for Fears but thought the second version of this song by Gary Jules was much better. I thought Adam did a marvelous job of the song and I became a bigger fan of his. Although I like Danny and Alison, but there is just something about Adam that got me all excited.

But, I still love Alison who is the yougest of the bunch and my boy Danny who I believe will be the last 2 standing along with Adam. But thats just me. As you know things can change very rapidly on American Idol but this is what I am hoping for.

So as I was cruising youtube to find the original song, I also ran across a very interesting video …

Healthy Meals Can be Quick and Cheap, Too

There is a widely-held belief that, if a meal is healthy, it can't possibly be cheap. Or if it's quick, it can't be cheap. Healthful eating doesn't have to take a lot of time in the kitchen and these two great recipes will prove the point. Both are easy on the calories and the budget, too.
