A New Yummy Recipe!!MMMMM

OK I am not one for trying new recipes in fear of messing them up and having them come out all bad and just plain awful. But this recipe was so easy a kid could do it and it was so delicious. Very easy and low fat and low in calories and very tasty. The picture is my finished product that I had to share with ya. I would love it if anyone actually makes this and share the finish product with a comment. Here is the recipe.

The New Year 2008

Well another year has come and gone. Gosh it just seem like the year had just started and now it is almost over. This has been a very good year for me and for Pegasus Handmade Soaps. I am very proud of what I accomplished. Who said that hard work doesn't pay off? Certainly not me. I have put in long hours in creating products, coming up with unique recipes, unique soaps and it was a long road this year but I did it. Someone once told me that you if you put your mind into something you love to do, it don't matter how much you sell but that you just love what you do and eventually it will pay off. I can remember back when I started 3yrs ago just a idea and thought of doing my own soaps. I can't believe how far I have come since then. Just this past July I started making my own soaps from scratch. That was a challenge believe me. I have always been afraid to branch into making my own soaps for fear of using Lye but I had to do it if I ever what control of what goes into my s…

My Lip Balms are Featured this week.....

How exciting is that! I am featured on a blog this week fro my Shea Butter Lip Balms. They are a big hit and so many people love them. So what is my favorite of my lip balms? For me, I like the Mega Melon, mmmm and I also enjoy using the Strawberry Banana mix. I also have Cucukoo for Coconut which is not much of a favorite but it can be. I am thinking of mixing the flavors to see what they taste like with the coconut.

But please stop by and check out her blog. She is such a lovely person and stop and read my feature for the week. Please leave a comment if you like. I would really like to see who has stopped by.

So exciting to have someone like your products and wanting everyone to see it. (sighs)

What's New for 2008!

If you have been good in 2007, I have a few things for 2008. In coming new year I will have a new category for MEN. Yes out our deserve to be pampered and treated well too. Men usually have tougher skin then us women and we need to look after them as well. I will have some new facial toners, cooling aftershave lotions and gels for men and some a new mens line of soap. Men love to feel good and clean just like we do, they just hide and pretend that they are not into feeling clean and fresh. Of course they don't want to admit it they are men. But they do. So for you wonderful hard working men out there, we will cater to you bath and body needs as well. Keep a look out. :-)

10 days til Christmas

Well it is getting closer and closer to Christmas and I only shopped for one person and that was my husband, who is so difficult to shop for. My son, I will see after Christmas so I can wait to shop for him then. He is very easy to shop for and likes just about anything I give him.

Well what do I have new for this week? I have some new soaps listed. ONly a few. I will be in the kitchen today making more soaps for January and lets hope they come out ok.

First on the list of new soaps, Clean Cotton. It has been up for a week or more and so far so good. It has a fresh clean scent with no colors added to this soap. I wanted this to be a clean fresh look to it as it smell great. It is made with all my great oils that will leave your skin feeling smooth and soft. This is a must try.

Next on the list is my new Pink Sugar Square Block Soaps. This was added earlier this week and I am excited about this soap. I have made numerous batches with this scent and they have all turned out brown. I mean …

I Believe

I really love this and thought I share this with everyone

I Believe:

That our backgrounds and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

That no matter how good a friend is, she is going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive her for that.

That because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

That it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

That you should always leave loved ones with kind words. It may be the last time you see them.

That money is a lousy way to keep score.

That you either control your anger or it controls you.

That sometimes I have the right to be angry, but I never have the right to be cruel.

That it always isn't enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to forgive yourself.

That no matter how bad your heart is broken, the world won't stop for you.

That to love others with my whole heart I must first love…

How to Be Patient

It has never been easy to be patient, but it's probably harder now than at any time in history. In a world in which messages can be sent across the world instantly, in which seemingly everything is available for immediate purchase with a few clicks of the mouse, it's hard not to always expect instant gratification. But patience remains a valuable tool in life. We don't always get instant gratification, and some of the best things in life require years of hard work and waiting. Fortunately, patience is a virtue that can be cultivated and nurtured.

People who are impatient are people who insist on getting things done now and don't like to waste time. However, some things just can't be rushed. Think about your happiest memories. Chances are, they were instances when your patience paid off, like when you worked steadily towards a goal that wasn't immediately gratifying, or took a little extra time to spend leisurely with a loved one. Would you have those memories if…

Feeling The Christmas Pressure

This is can be a really tough time for everyone because of the stress and pressures to buy this time of the year. I know because I have felt the pressures too. But so many people in this country are going through some really tough times with money, losing their homes, medical problems, and just all around having it really bad. I have been feeling the pressures to buy Christmas gifts but for me Christmas is more about just buying gifts. Its spiritual day for many and a day to spend with family. We try not to focus so much on the pressures of gift giving but why this day is here. Christmas has become so commericalized over the years and people just need to stop and think about what you are spending, how much you are spending and why you are spending. Is it to impress the people you are buying for? To show people that you are not cheap and can give a gift even if you are broke and poor? Don't do it. Don't fall under the pressures of gift giving if you don't have it to give. P…

New and Improved Cocoa Butter Cream

Ok if anyone of you have bought my Creamy Cocoa Butter Cream, you will know that it is awesome. (ok yes I am tooting my own horn) Well I hope everyone liked it who purchased it. Well I sort of accidently came across this version. I as making a batch of this cream and was watching TV at the same time (watching a football game) an I accidently mis measured the amount of cocoa butter. So when it finished it got really hard because we all know that cocoa butter is solid at room temperature. So I was stuck with a bad batch. So I just put it on my stock shelf and left it til I decided to come back to it again and figure out how I can use this for myself since I already made a new batch of the Creamy Cocoa Butter. It wasn't that hard but hard enough that it was NOT creamy LOL. So I stuck it in the microwave for a few seconds to warm it up a little and decided to whip out my mixer. Well the rest is history. I whipped out the blender and started to mix it and decided to put it on whip. I …
